Worst Episode of Star Trek Season Two Round Two

The Omega Glory for me as well. It's kind of a shame, as I really like Morgan Woodward in it; the story just doesn't hold up.

Nothing even comes close to Omega Glory, in my books. Something like Alternative Factor in S1 was just a botched concept...this was basically an embarrassing idea from start to finish.

Whilst the Omega Glory has its bad points (everything after and including the line: "Freedom? That is one of our worship words!", IMHO) I Mudd has the greatest cringe-factor for me. I find a lot of this episode requires the use of fast-forward.

Not even new CGI Remastering could do much for this cheesy, misguided Trek-or-Treat. Even the black cat looks bored.

2/3 of Omega Glory are stellar. For me this outweighs the pretty awful last third. And even outside the American flag stuff, that act can be good too; the fight, the Spock telepathy thing.

But The Apple has no redeeming qualities at all.

I lay the Blamesters on Gamesters. Everything was there: weird aliens, mortal combat, Kirk and a girl. Too bad absolutely nothing happened. I'll give you 100 quatloos if I can have that hour back.

Me, I like The Omega Glory, hokey ending and all. When I was 14, it was actually cool. I got that it was a heavy handed comment on our society. Now that has never happened in TV, before or since.

The Cats meow for me. I can actually enjoy "Catspaw" but of all these eps it is my least favorite.

I've noticed that most of the votes against The Omega Glory have to do with the ending.
However, I voted Catspaw as the worse Season Two episode because it is bad in the beginning, the middle, and the end!!! As a kid, I only enjoyed the commercials while watching this episode.

Catspaw - the giant cat just seals the deal for me. Omega Glory was only bad at the end.

The Apple wasn't too bad and I, Mudd had I, candy. Although the imaginary explosive and whistling imaginary phasers are cringe worthy.

As for Gamesters, I mean are you kidding me!?!?!? That was the episode that gave us not only Quatloos as a valid betting currency to be used on the TrekBBS, but also gave us our favorite drill thrall, Shana. And Who mourns for Adonis? I do, big green hand and all.
