"Waking Moments" is one of those guilty pleasure episodes I love. It's so stupid - an entire race that spend all of their lives asleep! - but in the right way.

And the unbelievable obviousness of the trap, that the crew just blunders idiotically right into. The Voyager crew was rarely stupider.

I'm also properly OBSESSED with "Night Terrors" on TNG, so I appreciate this as the (extremely) poor man's version.

Demon singular. I liked the silver blood as a concept and exploring as exotic planetary classification was fun. It also remembered that Voyager has to keep on top of its energy reserves. Granted we can assume that stocking up and mining happened regularly but it would be a largely boring episode but you could make a slice of life bottle episode out of it.

Simply a matter of time... it's ultimately why I haven't gotten to several others yet. (There are 3 episodes left I would pick as 'worst'. Most people here can probably guess what at least one of them is.)

I can defend "DEMON", because it is a suitably creepy episode and has a great vibe and atmosphere. As a horror fan, that goes far with me. And it gave Kim something.

Plus it sets up an excellent followup with "COURSE: OBLIVION".

Random Thoughts is next, what a fascinating idea for a race of telepaths that has a black market for dark memories.

I already saved the end of Enterprise's The Forge three-parter, so I suppose I should save "The Forge" as well. Even if it did blow Admiral Forrest up.

Enterprise's most prominent ongoing storyline, the relationship between Earth and Vulcan, had gotten stuck in a bit of a rut, but this started pushing it forward in a big way. Plus it was also a good story.

I've never been able to feel the love for Demons/Terra Prime. It reminds me of some shows I worked on that got cancelled, and then the writers and cast just phone in the episodes we still have to shoot to complete the order.

Something that always happens in those episodes: the series regulars we thought were bad, who no one ever wanted to write for, are suddenly getting screentime, because the writers don't care anymore and the leads don't want to work. That's what came to mind when I saw that Demons/Terra Prime suddenly had material for Mayweather, for the first time in years.

And the fact that it ends with Trip & T'Pol crying over their dead baby! That does not make a satisfying end to a series!

Honestly (controversial opinion incoming)... I think TATV makes a better finale than that. And I haaaaaaaate TATV.
