A TNG Animated Series?

I’ve watched them, if that helps? Been a big RE fan since Sega Saturn days. :-)

The modern RE movies are a massive improvement over earlier efforts like the FF movie released earlier this century, but they still don’t entirely convince.

From my perspective anyway…
You are talking about the CGI Biohazard movies right and not the In-Name Only Live Action RE movies? Because as a Huge Biohazard/Resident Evil fan (since 1997) I feel obligated to set the record straight on that one.

They are the movies being discussed, all in the context of realistic CGI animation being convincing or not.... so...

Yes?

Obviously.

It certainly wouldn't make much sense to say that the animation in a movie that is not animated did not convince me would it?

I would rather a DS9-centric storyline on how the Bajorans were Officially brought into the Federation. There we could see them bring back Colonel Kira (and hopefully Intendent Kira).

No thanks. They took that story to a satisfactory conclusion. While it might seem like a good idea to bring them back, it is almost never as satisfying as you imagine.

My wife has been playing the games, since the PS1 days. I am that old!

Sorry I did not mean to offend. I'm just paranoid.

Biohazard/Resident Evil always had weird lip synching, it got noticeable with RE5 (for me at least)

Does anyone think a TNG Animated Series might work? We *kind of* got (weird) snippets in Very Short Treks

There was an eighth year between All Good Things and Generations, plus all those years on the E and (at a push!) that last year on the D after Picard 3

We know the cast love working together, plus it will be voiceover work which most of them are familiar with. You could even do crossovers with the other shows - prequels, sequels - that weren't quite possible in the old show
Definately. Having already watched Lower Decks and now Prodigy, I'd be very interested in seeing a TNG animated series. Thats if, the powers that be want to. I'm definately on board with the idea.

After what happened with TOS' animated series I'm of the opinion that an animated show based on an already-existing Trek series wouldn't be that great. Nevertheless, I'd at least TRY it, though I'm sure there's some that wouldn't even bother. :p
