I'm a big fan of SNW. Not a fan of musicals. Watched the SNW musical once, won't watch it again. Simple as that, start picking apart the logic of any TV show and very soon you're mad about sound in space.
Maybe. But most viewers don't sweat the detail like that.
What's wrong with being mad about sound in space? If Strange New Worlds showed them listening to sound in space I'd be bothered by that too!
Though personally I wasn't picking apart the logic of the musical, not actively anyway. My brain rejected it as I was watching, no deep thinking required.

I never had issue with the musical episode, I enjoyed it for what it was & moved on.
People are probably still having the Kirk vs Picard discussions they started 4 or 5 years before I was born.
Kirk vs. Picard was resolved when we realised it didn't matter who the best captain was as long as we could all agree Archer was the worst

Imo it is. From the gags to the animation style. I really tried to like it. But it’s not for me. Feel free to disagree.
Tbh I won’t be watching it soon. It doesn’t appeal to me. If you enjoy it that’s fine. But I’m not sold on the concept.A fun Star Trek adventure?

It's not my favorite but it's not the most outlandish story idea for Trek.
