The Most Disliked Episode Directed By David Livingston, 2025 Edition

I'm going to save Enterprise's "United", because its title reminds me of an ancient discontinued brand of chocolate bar I used to enjoy as a young child, and because it's really good.
~ Oh! I'd forgotten all about McVitie's United bars until you mentioned them (presuming they're the ones you meant?). A rare treat for the school lunchbox!

I guess I'll save ENT: "The Seventh". Boring episode, but I'd watch it again before the 3 other episodes remaining on the list.
~ I really like "The Seventh" - it feels so different to other Star Trek fare. I agree with the second part of your comment, though :D

I don't like any of the remaining episodes, and haven't seen them in years (decades?), so I'll pass on saving one.

Funny, I would have made the opposite choice.

At least the disease is about some things that actually matter, whereas spirit folk is just fluff without real substance (in my view).

Though I can understand your revulsion of the episode given how Harry was treated for his actions.

It was a dream come true to drop the hammer on "The Disease".

"Spirit Folk" is actually Ok on New Year's Eve. You have a few glasses of bubbly, then start the episode at 11:49:35. Harry kisses the cow at exactly midnight.

Like a certain TNG story, any attempt at any intended soapbox message was scripted and carried out so rabidly that the messages it presents are beyond coherent. 70s sitcoms did a better job with getting messaging sent out right, and they're comedies.

"Bubbly" as in "hydrochloric acid"? 😬

^^this

Best. CGI. Cow. Ever.

Spirit Folk is better than The Disease. Holograms gaining awareness is much better than Harry Kim moping around.
When he's not glowing in the dark.
Seems like whenever Harry has a romance with anyone, it seems to end disastrously. They could probably write a Klingon opera about his love life.

So I looked up some lyrics, and it's amazing how, when you translate these to Klingon on the web, they don't translate back even remotely the same and, yep, I tried two different translation sites. Then again, one of these isn't a real language and I'd almost guess that it's probably "Klingon" that isn't real, but I digress:

You beautiful thing
You beautiful thing
You glow, glow (green)
Let your feelings show
Don't you know that if
You glow, glow (green)
Keep smiling

translates into:

qo' DaghoSnIS
qo' DaghoSnIS
maj
qeylIS vIghoS
naDevvo' bISov 'e' vISovbe'
bIQublaHwI',
tlhIngan

then, when ran again but in the other direction, becomes:

You must need to realm the world
You must need to realm the world
Our
I will go to Kahless
I don't know from here
You can embrace it, my lord,
Klingon

The actual song is rather good for the time and genre in which it's in:

(Even if glowing green isn't involved)

And because The Simpsons hasn't yet done a song involving radiation, I'll just chuck in this tangential clip of an otherwise tangentilally tangential clip instead:
