Urgh! What a choice!

I am saving "Unification" for the appearance of Spock in the TNG episodes. I say nothing about the DIS episode.

I was wondering if Unification should have even counted as a two-parter anymore

I'm saving Enterprise's "The Forge/Awakening/Kir'Shara", as it plays to all the series' strengths, putting the crew back in the middle of the Vulcans and Andorians and letting them make some real change this time. You could say the same thing about the Babel One arc, but I thought that fell apart with its last episode, while The Forge arc ended on a high note.

[Seven of Five]

In my opinion the Andorian trilogy is much better than the Augment one.

Despite the presence of Brent Spiner, large parts felt like filler.

I think it's pretty great, but all of these trilogies are fantastic, so the winner was going to be good.

Well, actually, I probably have picked the Vulcan trilogy as my winner. At a certain point with that one, I was just like "get me out of this fucking cave set!"

I loathe "Storm Front"! Only watched it once. A perfect winner.

Same here! I was probably more relieved to get out of the Expanse than the NX-01 crew was. Then to be denied a homecoming by having to slog through another "Nazis In Star Trek episode" (a 2-parter no less) was just way too much.

Anyway, great job as always Sakonna. Your games are one of the current highlights of TrekBBS.

I feel that so many Prodigy episodes in the final run seems a little unfair since I feel Prodigy has, generally, been very good. I wonder if there's a lack of familiarity with these episodes?

Ouch, I missed saving that one! I still prefer Et In Arcadia Ego, but I found Malik far more sexy/menacing as a villain than Khan ever was.

It wasn't made as such and wouldn't count as a double episode, but my pick would be Space Seed/TWOK without a doubt.

The weakest trilogy for me is Unification. Despite Nimoy adding gravitas, the plot just didn't do it for me.

 

[Bad Thoughts]

Making the Disco episode "part 3" was very unfortunate. It revisited some interesting ideas to see how they panned out, and Sonequa Martin Greene acted really well around issues related to he pr family life. The conflict was a little contrived. However, this was a very quiet, contemplative episode not consistent with the tone and pacing of the TNG episodes.
