"Dragon's Teeth" is a solid outing. Funny that this is the only Voyager adversary race to arrive with a built-in mechanism for how we can run into them again and again on the way home... and then they're the only ones that we never see again.

I love a Kes episode so I'm saving VOY: "Elogium". While there is some ill-thought through biology at play here (or, at least, poorly explained), the idea of having children aboard Voyager is a good one, considering their situation, and Samantha Wildman's news at the end is a nice surprise.

"Vortex" was a fairly run-of-the-mill episode but it does hint that Odo has a background worth exploring. Also, the ending, where Odo helps a criminal escape, is an indication that Odo is more concerned with justice than the law.

I'm struggling with these episdodes, they're average at best.

Melora was an episode that I liked more on my latest rewatch than what I used to think.

It was interesting seeing somone with a disability in Starfleet. Also, me having Huntingtoon's just made the episode resonate with me.

Late to the party, but saving "Thirty Days". Great Tom Paris episode, intriguing setting, and it showed both how much Tom had grown andvthat he still was who he was.

Initiations is the next one to be saved. Aron Eisenberg did a good job with his new character who is quite distinct from Nog. Kind of a shame he never reprised Jal Karden in STO as well.

Allegiance had some funny moments in it to make it worthy of saving.

[Farscape One]

Saving "Cost Of Living".

I know it is not liked by many, and I agree it is not great, but the scene when Lwaxana tells Alexander about loneliness and age was really, really good. It seems clear she was talking as Majel, considering Gene died only a couple months before that episode was produced.

Plus, the Parallax Colony was interesting.

"Repression" is OK-ish. I love that movie theater location. And it was always nice when the writers remembered the Maquis.

I happen to like "The Fight" although I understand why it's not thought to be a good episode.

So "Drive" wins (or loses - depends how you look at it)

I had predicted it would have been down to The Fight and Cost of Living. Only Chakotay can make a big sweaty man in a boxing ring be something boring to look at but at least the mish mash dialogue thing was somewhat creative.

I don't care for "Drive." And I loooooooove the Space Race trope, so I was ready to embrace even a weak version of this story. And I'm so pissed by the fact that it skips everything we really want to see from a Torres/Paris wedding. Satisfying winner.

The 2020 winner was VOY: "Elogium."

The 2022 winner was TNG: "The Masterpiece Society."
