despite being more an afterward to the finale to TNG, and a brief moment of TOS, it still brings a lump to the throat. Leave 'em wanting more, would a 5th season with ENT's case have been better? Until then, it's always Imzadi and Imzadi's Imzadi who take the final bow, odd but true. And... why not, they did help ensure Trek would find fresh new world after Kirk's era.

Saving Body Parts. This is great Brunt, being the tempter trying to get Quark to fail. There is a lot of examination of values and what makes one's life worth living. I find Rom's role to be touching and I get a little verklempt over the ending.

A lot of times I ding this episode for subsequent episodes not appropriately following through on Odo's turn to the dark side. But, if I focus in on just "Behind The Lines", WOW! This one blew my mind the first time I saw it.

Random, but I love how many times we saw Weyoun as a hologram, or a hallucination, or a prophet. So many versions of Weyoun out there!

I LOVE the scene in Quark's when Weyoun is truly enjoying dabo, and then he drinks the poisonous kanar. Brilliantly done, and that expression on Sisko's face was perhaps the funniest of his in the entire show.

I know this episode is widely disliked but Mirror Brunt is one of the good things about "The Emperor's New Cloak". It's nice to see the Ferengi written seriously for once, and I feel so sorry for him.

I've always had a soft spot for "Ferengi Love Songs." The A story, anyway (I just pretend the B story is not there). The Ferenginar A story is also absurd, but it's made great by the totally committed acting from everybody.

I particularly love the scene where Quark is horrified to find he has absorbed some human values.

Also, is Cecily Martin the ONLY time DS9 successfully recast a role? By which I mean, it still feels like the same character. Every other recast was such a hard veer from what the character had been before that it was impossible to believe that this was the same person.

"Image In The Sand" Do I love that introductory moment for Ezri at the end.

This two-parter makes such an inauspicious swan song for Weyoun 5, though! Killed off-camera afterwards to set up Weyoun 6 and 7 in "Treachery, Faith, And The Great River."
