Game The Most Disliked Garak Appearance, 2025 Edition

I usually try to leave the last elimination for others... but I have been COMPELTELY failing at that this game cycle!

And I will fail again, because I really think "The Dogs Of War" is a disaster and "When It Rains..." is probably the 2nd or 3rd strongest segment of the final arc. So saving "When It Rains...", and "The Dogs Of War" wins!

There was me thinking the obvious winner was The Emperor's New Cloak, as it was the only bad one IMO.

Surprised to see the Final Chaper left too.

I like The Dogs Of War a hair more than When It Rains because of the hilarious sendup of First Contact by Quark.

Agreed. It was my pick as winner for this. (It IS the 3rd worst episode of DS9, after all.)

I know that many people don't like "The Emperor's new Cloak" but there are lots of good things about it. MU Ezri behaves like an adult with purpose. Lesbians are the norm (which in a franchise that's been very wary of homosexuality is a nice change). Brunt is a sympatheitc character - it's nice to see a Ferengi not being played for laughs. And Garak's just the same shifty and devious character that we love.

That is actually the one I was expecting to win.

~ If I hadn't been late, I would've saved "The Emperor's New Cloak" before a handful of the others, too. It might not be a brilliant epiosde, but it's fun (on the whole) and strangely nice to see a quieter, kinder Brunt (as @Victoria mentioned). I don't know which episode I'd've liked to "win" though as I like ALL of them!

I cannot let the best segment of the final arc, "Tacking Into The Wind", linger any longer. Flawless

Brilliant episode, especially this scene:

Damar: To kill her and my son... the casual brutality of it... the waste of life. What kind of state tolerates the murder of innocent women and children? What kind of people give those orders?

Kira: Yeah, Damar, what kind of people give those orders?
