Spock (and probably Pike later in the day) today!...WOOT!
- I wonder if Paramount Marketing realizes today is April 1st?
We probably won't see a full proper SNW trailer until the Official (read Paramount Licensed) 'Mission Chicago' Star Trek Convention that starts Fri. April 8 through April 10. they'll probably have an 'official' SNW panel and an 'official' full length SNW Trailer reveal at said panel.

Probably so, though I think we’ll get Number One next/for sure today. I think we’ll probably get Pike as well, but they may be holding off on him.
Very possible! I think there’s a chance they’ll actually screen the first episode at Mission: Chicago, and we’ll get another, perhaps longer trailer, or even just the Investor’s Day trailer, released next week on Tuesday, April 5th, First Contact Day.

- You're correct - I completely forgot about the fact she's the XO in the SNW time period - and yes, it would make sense that the Captain and lead gets his own day/own trailer.
I actually love the implication (we'll see if its a fact) that T'Pring wanted him to 'prove himself' to her at what was probably their formal Vulcan 'Pon Farr' engagement ceremony. She never really liked/accepted him from the day they met.

Yup, this looks quite promising. Vulcan looks superb. I wonder if Amanda will show up during these sequences.
And as another poster said, the themes of acceptance for who Spock is in Starfleet resonate quite strongly with me. Wish we had more places like that in the here and now.

That looks.... quite fantastic.
I wasn't sold on Spock in DIS. He worked as bearded, confused Spock. But once he was clean shaven, in that weird assymetrically colored uniform, with that horrible hairdo, he felt nothing like Spock.
Here? All that's changed is basically his look (especially the hair) being much more natural (and of course Peck as an actor growing into that role). And... I like it? Which is weird, because I never like legacy characters rebootet?
