Yes but that episode heavily implied Spock hadn't seem T'Pring since they were betrothed age 7. In SNW she's an ongoing part of his life, visits the ship etc.

I'm not saying the discontinuities are a bad thing, it's an interesting take, IMO. And I think Sam Kirk is an awesome addition.

All that was said was a ceremony was performed when they were both 7 years of age. And Spock was out of sorts for the entire TOS S2 episode Amok Time; my point being there's all sorts of reasons he might choose to look at an early picture of T'Pring if he's thinking back to the melding ceremony.

There's no explicit dialogue stating they never saw each other, or communicated with each other in the intervening time.
