Picard Season 3 Blu Ray Coming

For those looking for the classic warp effect Blu-ray, Bull Moose, an independent retailer based in Maine and New Hampshire, still has the plastic case standard edition in stock. You need a $45 order for free shipping within the US, so I'd suggest pairing it with PRODIGY season 1, volume 2.

lol! Reminds me of that Family Guy episode where the Griffin's are doing a commentary and half way through a pizza is delivered and you hear Peter arguing with him. :)

Was it for Insurrection they got Frakes to do a solo commentary and you can just hear him getting gradually more drunk?

I watching the gag reel on the set and I noticed how better the lighting was on those scenes. You can actually make out the detail on the uniforms.

Dunno if this has been mentioned before (probably!) but I only just noticed that
in the second-last close-up of Q in the finale, de Lancie has a bug crawling on his forehead. :D

So I was reviewing the UK version of the season 3 Blu-ray and it turns out "The Last Generation" opens with the original European version of the Enterprise-D flyby, not the (IMHO superior) American one. This is very strange because the streaming services here like Amazon Prime updated to the American one with a day or two of the original release, and it was widely assumed that the original European version was an unfinished/scrapped version that was released accidentally.

YouTube comparison video for people who don't know what I'm talking about:

EDIT: turns out the copy I was supplied by my friend was the US version, not the UK version. Curiouser and curiouser…
The "early version" also appears in the extra features.

for me it will depend on how complicated they make the replacement process IF they offer replacements. Like, they will need to send the replacement disc first before I send them the current one.

I'm not going to get a replacement disc just for one shot. Besides that, it might make for a good Collector's Item at a Convention in a few decades. <--Thinking Ahead!

Yeah it's kind of like a rookie card. It's so rare and you are one of the select few people who actually has one.

Has anyone bought the series on Itunes? I've been thinking about it, but is it correct on Itunes or other video services?

to be fair it is a really nice shot.

in any case, I won’t flip out if they don’t offer a replacement disc. But I’d like to have the option.

Are people really making a fuss over the one shot? Crazy

Seriously. One VFX shot in a One hour episode sparking a need to get a replacement disc? Bonkers.

Maybe some can just treat it as a variant/ unique copy as someone suggested a rare card type of deal

That was a new design for the Xindi ;)
