Okay follow up question....are you talking about the aired or unaired version on the blu ray?

On disc one, episode 3 of the first season, they run the episode edited for broadcast with the main theme recorded when they did the score for The Man Trap. On the last disc of season 3, the unaired version of the episode has the original main theme never used in the series. That is the version on the CD - from the unaired pilot.

Interestingly, I listened to the theme song from the Volume 3 soundtrack, and that sounds like the S1 Blu-ray theme. Hmm...

The first season re-recorded theme is actually really close to the original. But those CDs came out years before they re-recorded it.

I'm thinking my V1 soundtrack has the original pilot themes.
I'm thinking my V2 soundtrack has the S2-3 theme.
I'm thinking my V3 soundtrack has the S1 theme.
I'm noting that if my V3 soundtrack has the original S1 theme, then the rerecordings did a great job for the Blu-ray, sounds the same as my V3 soundtrack.
