Which Blu-Ray set?

Probably been discussed a million times here but.....anyone know the significant differences between these two blu-ray sets?
I'd like to watch the original special effects and both these sets seem to allow that and both seem to have hd audio. One is all seaons in a box and the other is one season per box but as a bundle.

According to Memory Alpha the main difference seems to be the packaging, and you're getting the same episodes as in the original separate season sets.

The blurays' disc content is all identical. Like Ray said, the difference is all in the packaging.

I personally bought this set, despite already having the TOS movies on DVD/bluray. Each disc has it's own unique artwork, and it also included TAS and some other goodies. Well worth the purchase for me. I also bought it from Best buy and it included some additional poster. I'll have to dig it out and take a look to remember what it was, but I remember seeing it and thinking it was cool. That being said, the content on each disc is the same as the sets you tried to link.

yep they are straight re-pressings, right down to the preview for the "upcoming" Abrams Star Trek movie.

Go with what packaging appeals to you and fits your budget.

The only one with different content is the 50th anniversary set. It has the animated series and the first six movies - pre-restoration. Also some cards and stuff.
