Giving STO Another Try

I wonder if it will be compatible with existing Constitution skins? To be able to get a T6 Constitution in the C store, and this amazing new design, would be a jackpot after all these years

Question for Xbox players: I have collected a number of Elite BOFF upgrade tokens over the years and I’d like to use but I can find no way to do this. Everything I’ve read says I need to click an “Upgrade” button under the picture of the Bridge Officer, but I can find no such button. Same thing for the Captain upgrade tokens. Can’t seem to find any way to apply them to my character.

I looked at some videos on YouTube but they all seem to be older versions of the PC game and the interface is completely different. Any ideas?

If it's the same as PS4, click the empty box on the BOFF where a kit should be and you should get the option.

Patch notes. they revamped the TOS Connie (again) and the Pioneer as well. Inspired by the restoration of the TOS Connie model done by the Smithsonian

Fun days fun days we are getting some rather nice ships for the bundle

Concept art for the 'Kitty Hawk' skin for the Ark Royal in Star Trek Online, available in the Classic Film Bundle! The idea here was to match the stylings of ships as seen in Star Trek: Picard!#StarTrek #ConceptArt #StarTrekOnline

The idea here was to make the ship match this angle from the comics- if you squint a bit, whilst making our version customiseable with the Theseus skeleton that we have ingame!@heatherantos.bsky.social @jacksonlanzing.bsky.social

The connie refit is a bit higher than me. The Shangri-La is slightly larger than the Connie refit, at 295 meters

Are all of these ships ones that you own?

Here I am wondering how you've managed to get them all together at once. :)

Screenshots and lore for the Ark Royal class by Thomas Marrone:
The Ark Royal-class Carrier was one of many "Jeune École" projects entertained by the Starfleet Admiralty as the Klingon Cold War simmered in the 2280s. Many admirals remained skeptical about the viability of space fighters, but improved electronic warfare and engines made the idea worth trying.

At well over 500 meters, the Ark Royal was one of the biggest ships Starfleet had built to date. It could support 6 wings of Kodai-type space superiority fighters and over a dozen utility craft like work bees and shuttles.

The Ark Royal's own weapons compliment was limited compared to Klingon ships of similar tonnage, but it relied on its fighters and a Carrier Battlegroup to provide support and screening. This small squadron often included divisions of escorts like Pioneer and Okinawa-class frigates.

So here's an obscure question - I've gotten most of the emotes that are available, but one of them eludes me - the "Dab" emote. According to the STO Wiki, it was obtainable from Holo-Captain Kurland on DS9, just outside of Quark's, on April 1, 2018. Looks like this:

I didn't start playing until a couple of years after that, and every time April 1st rolls around I go looking for him and he's never there - or anywhere on the Promenade that I can find. Is he somewhere else these days? Has anyone else run across this, or is it another one of those never-to-be-seen-again features, like the 32nd Century and Pink vanity shields?

Huh… Weird. He must not be an Xbox thing. I’m right there and he isn’t where he should be. That’s a bummer. :(
