Been trying to come up with an explanation for Hugh's appearance. Without decanonising Picard in STO's timeline since a lot of it was referenced as well.

As it seems this is definitely the Prime Hugh a question of how he survived Narissa's encounter is a tough one for me and yes I must think about it and come up with a headcanon. Don't ask me why it's just who I am.

Not that resurrections are uncommon and Borg related ones are nothing new.

Given the way this story is unfolding, why wouldn't any character from the STO Universe not consider themselves the 'Prime' version; as for them the STO universe is their Prime universe??

Forwarding this it just face the fact that Star Trek Online is indeed its own separate universe from the rest of the Star Trek IP; same with the JJ verse and all the others.

The new developers from DECA seem to have embraced this stance.

I'm just glad it's not gone on autopilot since the DECA purchase and they're planning on making new content for the universe. Didn't think they were going to do that, honestly.

Sto is still a hefty money maker that I'd be surprised if they put it out to pasture so soon. There is no other game like it for Star Trek fans, and that should keep it alive for a few more years.

There's talk of remastering old storylines, which would be fantastic, as they're very clunky compared to newer stories.

I think they'll be adding content as long as Paramount plus continues to make new seasons.

A Stargazer model revamp also came out in the patch, Protostar inspired

The Stargazer remaster showed up on Tribble so I think it'll be coming to Holodeck pretty soon. This was designed and modeled by Tobias Richter for us. As some have guessed, it is the STO-original design "Stargazer" updated and remastered through the lens of the Protostar from Star Trek: Prodigy.

I would like further Prodigy-inspired revamps. Dakota probably needs a good makeover, in all honesty

I really cannot wait to see what they have in the TMP-inspired 15th anniversary bundle. One ship seems obvious now, but there are probably 3 or 4 more.

the Pioneer might be getting one, a drop box has appeared in the ship requestions screen where you'd normally see other variants but it's empty except for Pioneer right now.

That would be great! I've always wanted T6 Pioneer since I first laid eyes on one, and even more so since it was canonised.
