Plenty of potential in this but as pointed out, no real desire from anybody at the studio. Enterprise was cut off at the knees by a previous administration and few calling the shots at Paramount now had contracts there during its run. So it's seen as not their problem...
Continuing this fantasy scenario for a few sentences longer, I do still long for one last screen mission for Archer, T'Pol, Trip, Reed, Phlox, Hoshi, Mayweather and Shran (of course). Given the distance from the show now, the characters would have to be re-introduced running the risk of having them seem inconsistent. But then that was happening during the show, such as Hoshi's backstory in "Observer Effect" or any number of contradictions about Archer between B&B's tenure and Coto's. I do feel there's a wrap-up story for the 22nd Century out there somewhere, that does the show some justice and possibly even convinces those firmly anti-ENT, it has earned a place alongside other Trek series.
