Who knows? It might even be seen in much more favorable light in later years by those who come into it without the baggage of fanon preconception.

Count Zero, frankly I think we are getting there now. I consider myself one of those you talk about who isn't carrying the Trek baggage. Enterprise already is being looked at in a far more favorable light, is attracting new audiences globally and winning converts daily. Enough to bring it back? Most likely not, but I don't think it's Star Trek's bastard step child any more.

In my humble opinion, they should use the direct-to-DVD route like "Dead Like Me" and "Babylon 5." An "Enterprise" direct-to-DVD movie would target the specific fans of "Enterprise" and the marketing would be limited.

Something like Stargate did with Continuum and the ones before it. Self-contained movies. Their aim to sign-off SG-1 and its characters, but not totally unaccessible to non-fans. Not only climbed the DVD charts, but bought on Blu Ray and Pay-to-view too if I'm not mistaken.

I got the STARGATE DVD last year. I'm not even sure what it was called. But I got it because they were gushing over the GREEN SCREEN effects and the fact they filmed it all on one set..well..for me? It was boring and you could tell it was green screened...I was hoping for better. Will never by another STARGATE DVD because of the money I wasted on that one...the stories were snoooozers too..
