The Predator is dropped off with few, or no provisions, and has to survive a certain length of time and reach a certain destination in that time in order to become a warrior and earn his, or her, helmet.​

Hmm.. A thought. the Alien universe has always been with a female lead, Ripley etc. But Predator has until recently had a Male lead, wasn't until Prey that it was switched to Female. Now, again female leads. Seemed like Predator series was full testosterone beat each other with clubs 80s movies.

I watched the trailer again, and yeah..... This I like. More in depth take on Yautja culture and perhaps different sub species. No one human is like the other, yet somehow scifi geeks want all members of an alien races to look exactly alike. Weyland Utani is involved. All good. I'm down with this.
