Alien, Predator, AvP (news)

Did we know Killer of Killers was happening? I don't remember hearing anything about any kind of animated Predator show or movie coming out.
I'm a little disappointed to see this is just a movie and not a series.
It definitely looks and I'll be giving it a watch when it comes out.

There was an announcement a while back, yes. But nothing after that.

Loved the air combat scenes and it makes sense.

A fight is a fight and if a Predator chooses to engage a combat pilot in the air it's still a fight even if very lopsided due to his advanced tech.

Definitely looking forward to this.

Yeah, I can't imagine a Predator taking much honor in wiping out another opponent in a combat vehicle that's technologically hundreds, possibly thousands, of years off-parity. It's why they've always seemed to prefer hand-to-hand combat. The best ones are those who remove all their high-tech personal equipment and go at their opponent head-on.

Well, there's a broad range it seems what they consider a challenge. In the first Predator he takes out some of the team while under cloak with his Plasmaweapon, so little honor there i suppose. It's akin to human "hunter" who shoot at animals with high powered rifles from a high platform, that's not hunting but target practice

I guess it depends on the Predator himself and where he stands. So Predators have no problem using their advanced tech to score a kill, all that matters is that in theory their prey is able to defeat them.

So who would win in a hunt, a Predator or a Hirogen?
My first thought would be the Predator, but the Hirogen would probably put up a hell of fight.

Aren't the Hirogen the Predators you get from Wish? ;)

Hope there still working on the CGI.. the predator looks... Fake. 6 movies with prosthetics and make up.. don't re invent the wheel.

Can we go back to the alpabet? Ashe, Bishop, Call, David.. Now Elle? :rommie:
Otherwise looking forward to it.

I remember that there was a rumor going around back when Aliens came out, that all androids had "sh" in their names - an abbreviation for "Synthetic Human". That, of course, ended with Bishop. Cool theory at the time, though.
