Enterprise TV Movie

Do you think that if ST09 is a big success, Enterprise might get resurrected as a TV movie? They've got a cast. They have a couple big pre-made stories: Romulans, founding of Federation. People might be clamoring for some new Trek stuff. Besides, the final episode of Enterprise left something to be desired. What channel would it be on?

Yep!

- Star Trek ENTERPRISE -
THE GOOD THAT MEN DO
------the TV movie------

(Nope, never gonna happen)

I hope so,
...they a very good cast, and friends... its be so much fun on the set...
...and they will gladly response to play in the movie...
:bolian:

I can't think of anything I'd sooner see happen...

No matter that CBS auctioned off all the props, sets, costumes though Christies' a couple years back or how impossible and costly it would be to recreate NX-01 sets from scratch.

Don't stop me dreaming,

Chris

I don't think they ever will do an Enterprise movie (I have the slight feeling that the powers that are... or were... urgently try to forget that they ever did this series), but if they should change their minds, it should be a Romulan War special with a little bit more edge to it, along the lines of Battlestar Galactica: Razor.

I would support a TV movie of Star Trek Enterprise!!!:) I'm not sure if the entire cast, would be available to support the project at this time.:p

Huh? Like they've got anything better to do :rommie:
(career-wise, they're all losers, except for maybe Bakula and Bilingsley, but they'd better make the time)

i' don' think "losers" is the good word, very offensive, we can say the same thing for the cast of ds9, or voyager. and Bakula and Billingsley were well known before enterprise.

I didn't mean it in a offensive way, but let's face it, none of them would be in a position to refuse a role in this hypothetical ENT TV movie. A job is a job, after all.

+1 for that suggestion :techman:

As much as I did enjoy Enterprise; it's largely regarded by the entertainment media in general as "The Star Trek Franchise's Biggest Failure" (and I DON'T say that to flame or bait, again, I would have loved to see the series get 7 seasons too.

Thus - if the JJAbrams 'Star Trek' is a hit; the LAST thing the studio would do is go: "Hey, lets do something that features that last prequel Star Trek series - you know, the one that got cancelled early..."

What will most likely happen is they MIGHT consider a recast Star Trek (of the TOS style). Enterprise isn't on Paramount's radar; and I doubt it's on CBS' radar either (They own all TV aspects of 'Star Trek' now).

If we fans ever do get a TV movie that at least serves as a better finale, it'll be years after JJ Abrams has had his run with Star Trek (If this upcoming film does well, they have two sequels on the drawing board from what I hear).

Out of DS9, VOY and ENT, the latter is by far the most suited to a TVM, given how the three series ended (as TATV has effectively been excised from most people's "canons"), However, it's never going to happen, there just isn't enough money to be made from such a project.

The Romulan War is the foundational event of the Federation. It could be handled as a mini-series. An imaginative director could even make it into a movie.

Hey!!! Jolene Blalock was just on an episode of TBS' 10 Items or Less. Her career is thriving... oh wait...
