The hair on the men looks to be in keeping with the styles seen in TOS. The only main with a beard is M'Benga. And Sam of course has his trademark moustache. Ortegas' is high and tight. And the other women tend to keep their longer hair pulled back and in braids. Betraying 2024 would be pretending it's still the sixties.Fashion-wise, SNW looks like 2024 the same way TOS reflected 1960s styles: Beattle wigs, mini-skirts, go-go boots, etc. Just as all STAR TREK shows and movies betray the eras in which they were produced.
