Watch The Exhilarating Opening Scene Of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3

"Get a sneak peek at Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 in this action-packed scene featuring Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham) and new addition David Ajala (Cleveland "Book" Booker). Stream the premiere on Thursday, Oct. 15, exclusively in the U.S. on CBS All Access."

It'll do... :)

And now my new favorite Star Trek episode ever, whatever the title is... "That Hope Is You."

(Yeah, I don't even need to watch it yet.)

The ship sounds are very odd. Generic lasers on one ship, DOS-game "dow dow" sounds on the other.
Is that a Yridian on the screen? The animals are nice.

Starts off with a bang! Literally.

That was cool. I liked the space bugs and the pan up to the sky. I liked Book, too, what little we saw of him.

Book’s ginormous viewscreen was amusing, The future viewscreens must be even bigger, because it’s the future!

You’d think a computer smart enough to predict your immediate death would be smart enough to do something about it. Even my car calls for help in a crash.

I have to rewatch the season 2 ender, but wasn't Angel Suit 2 kind of a rush-job?

I'm such an anti-spoiler weenie now....I can't even bring myself to watch this...

Then it would be a fan film with a few thousand YouTube views.........or a non-produced idea like Axanar and Captain Pike.....I'll take Disco as is.
That's what the people want. That is "True to Roddenberry's Vision" is 60s era production values, at least according to the Captain April film comments.
