And now, on to The Voyage Home!

As a reminder, you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

Also, I'm starting us out with the actual beginning of the film itself, and omitting the European prologue. I hope no one minds.

Science Officer: It appears to be a probe Captain. From an intelligence unknown to us.

 

[Jeyl]

Captain: Continue transmitting universal peace and hello in all known languages. Get me Starfleet Command.

 

[LeadHead]

Helm: Ready Captain.

 

[Jeyl]

Captain: Starfleet Command, this is USS Saratoga patrolling Sector 5, Neutral Zone. We're tracking a probe of unknown origin on apparent trajectory to the Terrain Solar System. Attempts to communicate with the probe have been negative on all known frequencies.

STARFLEET: Continue tracking, Saratoga, we will analyze transmissions and advise.

 

[LeadHead]

Captain: Roger Starfleet, Saratoga out.

 

[Jeyl]

Enterprise Computer: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. (Boom)

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk(recording): To fully understand the events on which I report,

Klingon Ambassador: There! Hold the image.

 

[LeadHead]

Kirk: (recording) ... It is necessary to review-

Klingon Ambassador: HOLD! Behold the quintessential devil in these matters- James T. Kirk, renegade and terrorist! Not only is he responsible for the murder of a klingon crew, the theft of a klingon vessel, see now the real plot and intentions. Even as this federation was negotiating a peace treaty with us, Kirk was secretly developing the Genesis Torpedo, conceived by Kirk's son and test detonated by the Admiral himself! And the result of this awesome energy was euphemistically called the Genesis planet, a secret base from which to launch the annihilation of the Klingon people! We demand the extradition of Kirk! We demand justice!

Sarek: 'Klingon Justice' is a unique point of view, Mister President. Genesis was perfectly named for the creation of life, not death. The Klingons shed the first blood while attempting to posess its secrets.

[LeadHead]

Sarek: Your vessel did destroy USS Grissom. Your men did kill Kirk's son. Do you deny these events?

 

[Jeyl]

Klingon Ambassador: We deny nothing. We have the right to preserve our race.

 

[Leandar]

Sarek: You have the right to commit murder?
