An SF club nearby had episodes of Doctor Who on a big screen in a lecture hall running all day a few years back, if I had been able to afford to give up a day's pay (I was a temp back then) I'd have loved to have gone along. For a Trek day I would have gladly sacrificed that day's pay

At my local theater, they are charging 3.50 more for a ticket than other movies. Does anyone know why?

Is the $3.50 more the fandango surcharge, or have you checked with the actual theater.

It may cost more because of the limited run, one day, one showing.

It was on Fandango, but I checked other movies at similar times and they are $9.00. The Menagerie is the only one listed at $12.50.

That may be the reason. Normally it wouldn't matter, but right now I don't have a job so I usually only go to the $1.00 movie theater.
