Speaking of attention to detail, I like how the person playing Crusher is obviously wearing a wig. I'm not sure if that's a reference to Gates McFadden wearing wigs or just a necessary prop because it's hard to get hair to look like hers did back in her TNG TV days (so long and styled in such a particular way).

It's a necessary prop. The woman playing Troi is wearing a wig too. I wouldn't be surprised if "Leah Brahms" has a hairpiece as well.

Good? The sex scenes aside, "This Ain't Star Trek" was absolutely stupid. This new movie should surpass it by leaps and bounds, considering their budget and talent.

(Actually, the guy who plays Bones in "TAST" is actually pretty good, and funny too. He's obviously an actual actor and not a porn star, as he has no sex scenes and can actually act.)

It actually looks good, from a production standpoint. And the modelwork is nothing short of amazing, considering this is a porn movie. Their Enterprise-D (crooked window placement aside) looks better than the one used in the actual show.

I've been waiting ages to see a proper trailer. From what I can see of the ship, it looks great. I wasn't very impressed with their Picard impersonator. He doesn't even have the right kind of accent. I was expecting more considering their got an impersonator, and not a porn actor.
Looks like it has good CG and an attempt at some kind of actual storyline. Usually these SFW porn trailers are still obviously just setups for the sex, but this trailer just looked like a Star Trek episode.

But he's not just a non-porn actor, he's probably not an actor whatsoever, other than a look-alike. And yeah, I suppose he could have made more of an attempt to actually sound like Picard, but again that would require an acting ability this guy just might not possess.

Looks like it has good CG and an attempt at some kind of actual storyline. Usually these SFW porn trailers are still obviously just setups for the sex, but this trailer just looked like a Star Trek episode.

I was under the impression that the models are actual physical models, not CGI, since it was stated that they were filmed behind a greenscreen. But the CGI VFX are astounding for what it is. I hope there's a behind the scenes section that shows the set construction and modelwork.

What little I saw of him, I think the guy who plays Riker has the character spot-on. Even Tasha was pretty convincing. Data wasn't exactly like Spiner, but close enough IMHO (if you're so inclined, Google "Sex Trek 4" to see a horrendously horrible and cheap version of a TNG porn, but the guy who plays Data looks and acts so much like Spiner, it's uncanny).

I was just assuming that the background planets and phasers etc were CG. Either way they looked great.
And I got the impression that the guy playing Picard had done acting, although I can't find any links for that, and the wording in what I have found has been ambiguous at best, so maybe he was just hired as a look-alike rather than a true impersonator.

This is the first time I've ever seen a porn trailer where it actually left me wanting to find out how the story turns out! It actually looks like an immaculately made fan film and appears to have a better, more intriguing plot than the last two TNG movies. There's barely any hint that it's porn. Crusher and Picard kiss and so do Data and Tasha, but we've seen that in regular TNG episodes too.
