Star Trek Next Generation: A XXX Parody

“Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody” is set during the sixth season of “The Next Generation”, but it will be filmed as a stand-alone movie beginning with the credits and moving into the story.

Intricate models of the Star Fleet were constructed for the movie. The Enterprise will be modified slightly from the iconic ship known around the world due to copyright issues, but will still be recognizable to fans. After thorough research, Hain and Director of Photography Eddie Powell will shoot the space sequences with the models in front of a green screen. The process will precisely replicate the methods from the shows.

I'm actually very intrigued to see what the modelmaking looks like (among other reasons to see the movie ). The Enterprise-D and any other ships used have to look somewhat different than the real thing for the above reason, but from what I've read, they're supposedly professionally done, not cheap plastic model kits or horrendously shitty CGI like in "This Ain't Star Trek."

The legal thing is similar to what happened in "Zapped!" Scott Baio made a model Enterprise hover around his bedroom, but because of legalities, they couldn't use the actual Enterprise image, so they kitbashed a Millenium Falcon with TMP Enterprise nacelles instead.

Another tidbit I found online (if anybody even cares): The "Stargazer" set dressing model for Picard's ready room is, for some reason, the Enterprise-E model with a large TOS Connie nacelle and pylon stuck to the top of it. Maybe somebody thought it looked phallus-like?
