It doesn't matter what his points are. If what @Lakenheath 72 says RMB said is correct, then RMB has no credibility.

No, it's more than that. He's got something going on with him. And that was true LONG before Picard Season 3 came into the picture. Every series has their Stewey or their James Dixon. RMB is this for Discovery.
Somewhere hidden in everything, RMB might have legitimate points, but they're lost in a whirlwind of craziness and hyperbole. Moral of the story: Be critical, but don't sound nuts.
He does have a mercenary streak.
That makes it worse. That means he has no real stance. Some people here might disagree with me about what I think of different parts of Star Trek, but at least you know where I stand. Him? He can be bought out.

Well, it is completely in character for him, for whatever that's worth. RMB is the guy who said a woman deserved to be sexually assaulted for writing an episode he didn't like, after all. Which, IMO, is the point where he lost perspective for me.

The more I see him the more I wish I had never heard of him.
He was praising it before he had any sort of relationship with Terry, as he somehow got access to some of the scripts before he even met the man. I'm going to assume from one of the returning people from the Berman era.
Despite being a dick, he still seems to have some connections inside CBS. At least back then.
He also knew of and was bashing the Guardian of Forever appearing in Discovery Season 3 a couple weeks before the reveal. Though it's possible he just knew someone with a press copy of the episode.

It's empty ragebait for the engagement replies on twitter. Nothing more. They get their hate in every episode and one, maybe two HUGE meltdowns a season. Any more and people will grow tired of the schtick and leave them because each one will have decreasing returns.
Every fandom has people who do this exact thing, whether it's the Royal family, WWE or Marvel. It's the same template. Create tribalism, create controversy, make money.
Indeed, Ian Levine for example is the RMB of Doctor Who fandom.
Which i am completely convinced was because he was paid to do so.
Even Doug Drexler decided bridge windows were okay and no longer an offence to Gene as soon as he was brought on to Picard season 2
I find that unlikely, as because I said before he was praising it when he got some scripts leaked to him before he even met Terry.

He was still being negative PIC Season 1 and the other shows while working on Season 3, so I doubt he was being nice because of that. I think he genuinely came around to it, maybe someone in the S2/3 production team managed to change his mind.

There's no Discovery episode that's as bad as the worst third of TOS. It's not close.It's not even the worst thing to happen to Star Trek.
