Hmmm... exactly how is it that the Breen are likely to arrive imminently at the Library? Even if they know the location of the Library, they don't have a library card to get directions, or a spore drive to even get to the Badlands.

Hey, exactly how is it Moll's going to deliver the goods? She doesn't have all the clues and isn't likely to get them.

Not that DSC's ever been all that logical in the way its plots work, but this is bugging me a bit.

Edit: I take it back. Looks like Moll's plan was always to get the rest of the info from Discovery. That works.

This wasn't what I was expecting, or hoping for, considering that there are only a handful of episodes left. That said, I had to remind myself that they didn't know this would be the final season when they wrote this episode.
And it does have some deep character introspection for Burnham (perhaps the most in depth I've seen with a Trek captain), and there's also a big twist with Moll. I thought Sonequa Martin-Green had a strong performance. I found the twist with Moll hard to swallow. It reminded me of Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi or the human traitor on Paramount Plus's own Halo series. I get why they would want Moll more prominent, but the idea that these Breen would all just go along with it after she kills their primarch was too much.

It was a missed opportunity to bring back Sarek, Amanda, Spock, Georgiou, Burnham's mom, or someone else from her past to play the role of the guide. And I'm not going to lie that I really would've liked to have seen Troi. Though I did like when Burnham admitted her feelings and her fears to the mental figment Book. I also felt they missed another opportunity with Rayner. He knew of Breen shield tunneling, but then told Discovery to figure it out. He used to be a 32nd century Starfleet captain, and it's like he's too sidelined. I wish they had written that differently so that he could've helped more, but I get they wanted a Stamets, Reno, and Adira scene. I was hoping we got more Easter Eggs and Trek lore, and that we heard the species name Efrosian spoken.

That was ok entertainment. Not bad but not great either. A 7. That's a bit generous but it definitely deserves better than a 6.

For a showdown with the Breen over the final clue, it certainly was talky and slow. That's so Discovery. But it really didn't do the episode any favors. They couldn't even show the action that occurred when several Breen beamed over. I guess you can say it was a nice message about introspection. But, not riveting TV.

The stuff on the Breen ship was the worst part. Tedious and unbelievable. Moll continues to be only a petulant teenager. The actress just doesn't have gravitas. What a convoluted and unbelievable turn of events for Moll to sort of be in charge.

The big treasure hunt that started out with energy has worn down to a lot of talking--with Burnham and the Breen.

I headed straight to the ending. The ending told me what I needed to know. I didn't miss watching the whole episode. Now, only if there was a way to jump ahead to the end of the season to see how this series ends.

OK, it was well-played, so points for that. But then why watch at all instead of just reading a recap sometime?

I liked this one. Not quite what I expected this close to the end, but this was the episode I didn't know I wanted to see. So, I'm glad we got it.

Burnham vs. The Dewey Decimal System.
Moll vs. The Primarch.
Hy'Rell (a.k.a. S5's version of Po) and Discovery vs. The Breen.

I can't put my finger on what exactly it reminds me of, but this episode had much more of a Fantasy Genre feel than Sci-Fi.

Yeah, now it's about pouring sand to get out of a maze :brickwall:
Only to then reveal the big twist: know thyself. Wow. :D

My P+ app is being crazy. Showing it as “LIVE” and won’t let me pause or FF……never had this happen. Will try on a different device. Irritating.

It was cool to see the Badlands again, it would have been fun to have the ship thrown into the Delta Quadrant, even if the spore drive would negate the problem. ;)

I enjoyed the scenes with Burnham solving the clue with 'Book,' even if I've had a hard time staying interested in Moll's shenanigans this season. The high point was last week, but L'ak died as he was becoming interesting.

I'm missing Saru from the season so much. This show has such a confusing way of using the main cast. See Tilly last season in particular. It hurts me more because he's always been my favourite.
