As some reviews already said, the scientist was IN The Chase! He was not the commander, but in the background! MA says it was an unknown actor. Could it be Copeman?

Done with the episode. No rating. But I'll say yes, I actually do think it's probably the best season premiere of Discovery.

I’m getting ads. I don’t recall having them before. Not even Halo season 2 had them.

It was okay. I managed to get at least 4 items off the Bingo list. The story doesn’t seem rather original but I’ll keep watching. My biggest gripe was why a medical doctor and a mushroom guy were looking into the android’s body. They are not qualified for that at all.

That was a fun premiere. Like the premise. Then again I always loved “The Chase.” Glad to see them follow up on it. Rayner is an interesting addition to the show. The scene with Tilly flirting was amazingly awkward.
