They do it all the time at Comic-Con and similar big conventions. They want to do something unique and special for those who went.

Though this was a free public stream, so it really doesn't compare.

I try to be a good paid shill, but this isn't a good look for Paramount. Going after fan sites that are just creating hype.......it's not like they are crowdfunding a garage to keep their bridge set in or making a professional fan film......cut them a little slack FFS.

Glad I screencapped while they were up. The only really cool one to me was Number 1 looking all kinds of badass.

Yeah. It’s their IP but just like posting episodes on P+ then taking them down for 3-4 hours……their team just looks unprofessional and like they didn’t think things through. If screen caps not allowed then have invited guest’s briefed and an NDA in place. Not that hard to look professional.

They usually release these things after the first screening at press events or conventions. I'm sure something had to be edited out... remember the STID trailer that they pulled immediately after it turned out it revealed that Khan is in the film? XD
