Well it looks like from what Bill Lawrence is saying that J.D/Elliot will handle there relationships much more maturely because they are older and wiser...so there won't be any Ross/Rachel last minute things.
"My ABC's," the first episode last night, was in fact written and shot as episode 8x01, but aired out of order -- "My Jerks" and "My Last Words," the first episodes aired this year, were originally written and produced as episodes 8x03 and 8x04. A few quick dubs and pickup shots (Elliot and J.D. dating again, etc.) were done to get "My ABC's" to fit into its new spot.
As for J.D. and Elliot...
Bill Lawrence said in an interview a few weeks ago that the series ends with J.D. getting back together with Kim and taking a job at another hospital.
that doesn't make sense with regards to Dr Cox. If this was episode 1, what happened to him by episode 3 or 4 that they had to bring in Monica to be the Chief?

Courteney Cox hadn't been cast prior to the start of filming. When she was landed, some hasty re-writing and re-scheduling was done to re-jigger the ordering. (Which is the primary reason that Courteney Cox's arc was so horribly done -- it was very quickly written.) Also, the story about (Perry) Cox becoming the chief of medicine wasn't in "My ABC's," but "My Cookie Pants," which would have book-ended the episodes we've already seen and was aired in its intended spot.
That's why last night's "My ABC's" featured things like J.D. talking about his beard as though it were brand-new, introductions to the interns, Cox hating Ed, Elliot not realizing that Katie was a conniving bitch, a preliminary explanation for why Kelso was still hanging around the hospital, etc.

Actually from Marc Aussielo I heard that Kim & JD wants to be closer for the sake of there kid so JD moves to a new hospital but not with Kim and Elliot and him will stay together.

IF there is another season JD wouldn't be a main character. Essentially, any season after this would be like a spinoff, even if not a spinoff in name. Zach Braff and Bill Lawrence(who has said he is OK with them moving on without him) are both done with the show after this season. Braff did say he had no problem recording the voiceovers remotely, but I don't know if they were looking to do that.
Radin's first recording was a demo of the song Winter produced by songwriter Cary Brothers. When a close friend, actor/filmmaker Zach Braff, heard the demo of "Winter"[1], he was immediately interested and featured the song on his show Scrubs in the episode "My Screw Up" early 2004. The song received an overwhelmingly positive response and gave Radin substantial exposure with the show's demographic. The songs "Today," "Closer," "Don't Look Away," and "These Photographs" were also used on the show. Braff also played the triangle in Radin's song "Today."
I am pretty happy that Cox is finally Chief. Now this really does feel like the last season. I chuckled when Cox asked if he and Kelso were becoming friends.
I find it odd that the new interns are mirror versions of JD, Elliot, and Cox... but they don't have mirrors for Turk or Carla. Or hell, even Janitor! That would be interesting.

I don't mind the female intern working with J.D but the other two are annoying and none of them can carry the show into a 9th season...so ABC end it after this year.
Yeah, the actress who plays Denise/"Jo" is really good. And I like Katie as well, though the Ed (both the character and the actor) pretty much leaves me cold. I guess two out of three isn't bad.
