Scrubs

They're going to try and make s8 more like the earlier seasons?

Can we have some more Dr Molly Clock then? Please? That episode where Cox and Kelso (bastard-covered bastards with bastard filling) are trying to crush her sunny disposition is one of the best of them all.

Scrubs was one of those shows that my wife and I would watch if we happened to catch it on, but we never made a point to tape it or anything. Recently, we started watching it on DVD from the beginning, and we love it. I want to be Dr. Cox in my next life.

^The problem that I have found with the DVDs is that there are too many episodes on one disc, so if you happen to press "Play All," you get stuck in front of your TV all day thinking, "How many episodes are left? I'm hungry. I have to poop. But I can't stop watching!"

^ Exactly! We tended to watch them at night after our kids went to bed, which usually ended at 2AM with me whining something about having to be up in 3 hours to go to work.

I've recently discovered Scrubs in syndication and make it a point to watch it every night. I absolutely *love* Dr Cox, and even take after him when I get onto my son.

"OK, Veronica -- whenever you feel like getting your bottom in gear I'll be ready and raring to go!"

My wife and I love Scrubs. Before we married, I had all six seasons and even though they are at our fingertips any time we want to watch them, we still are suckered into watching episodes on television. Even if we have seen the episode multiple times, we still watch them repeatedly.

"Why is there a pancake in the silverware drawer?"
"You mean, why is there silverware in the pancake drawer, Wus'UP?"

Switching networks and cutting budget. The show's creator wants to take it back to it's root and end all that ridicuously corny comedy later seasons were riddled with.

So this last season could be the good end true fans are hoping for. I for one think a main character will die.

"Baby!"
"What? He said my hair was curly."
"Your hair is curly."
"BABY!!!"

One of most quotable shows ever.

Crash Cart!!! STAT!!!!

Thread revived!!!!

I saw My Jerks and the other new one and it was pretty damn funny!!!!

Switching networks and cutting budget.

Well, that's half right. The budget was cut, but it's not really switching networks. Not in any way that matters to you, the viewer anyway. ABC has always produced the show. It's just that in some cluster fuck, NBC had the rights to air it. Don't ask me how that works.

Anyway, Scrubs is up there with BSG and Lost for must-see viewing for me. Sadly, my cable's on the fritz at the moment. I'll have seen them by this time tomorrow though and I'll be back with my thoughts.

when ABC1 was on freeview it used to actually air Scrubs

I thought Scrubs came back really well last night and the 2nd episode was a fantastic little character piece and one of strongest episodes to date, farewell George ;).

Since Scrubs is back my TV ratings will return later today, I was going to start next monday/tuesday but I do love me Scrubs.

Agreed. The second episode showcased some of the things that Scubs does best. It's back on my watch list after a two year hiatus.:techman:

The second episode, (this is after an initial reaction) was one of the best episodes of the series.

Awesome. I missed this show so much.

I like the show, but never understood how the Janitor manages to stay employed. Can't the Dr's. fire janitors?

The Chief of Medicine can. And she did. I think the doctors are actually going to ban together to bring him back. This might mean a visit to his home and meeting all of his stuffed animals. Hilarity will ensue.
