Seven weeks of remembering to catch the life and times of John Adams is a bit of a commitment.
Is it strange at all that my favorite episode thus far was the one with the Continental Congress debating whether or not to declare independence? It was pretty much an hour and a half of just debating, with some small snippets of the goings-on at the Adams house, but I was completely into it.

I've been watching it for the last few weeks and I love it. I was a big fan of the book and they've done a great job adapting it to the big screen.
The second segment was my favorite as well. They could have done an entire series on the Continental Congress and Revolution. I hope they do one of these days. While I agree the Continental Congress is the pivotal moment in his life, I'm very much looking forward to the next two segments. You've got the Washington presidency coming up, the Quasi-War with France, the feud with Hamiliton, the less-than-honorable Alien and Sedition Acts, and the unraveling of his friendship with Jefferson. I say we're in for some pretty good stuff.
