Did anyone catch sight of these? Justin Craig said he scattered them around the ship.
So Boy and I were watching 2001: A Space Odyssey tonight. Frank and Dave are watching the news on their pad thingys. I said "Look at THAT!" He says "The iPad? What's the big deal?" I said "It's NINETEEN SIXTY EIGHT!"
Did the TOS tablets ever have images on them? Because they beat 2001 by two years, didn't they?
The Bridge is still one of my favourite things about SNW. It looks absolutely astounding, while completely evoking the Bridge from TOS. It's actually become my favourite Bridge in the entire franchise.
Plus, I love what they did with the Phaser, Tricorder, and Communicator. They're perfect.

Actually, what were they even called? Memory Alpha calls it an electronic clipboard.
Would love to be corrected on this, but as far as I’m aware it can only be spotted in a number of shots in the season one finale “A Quality of Mercy”. I would like to see the bridge without all the lighting strips and maybe less gloss. I would LOVE to see this bridge at the size of TOS and TMP. But I think those light strips alone would get me 75% of the way there.
It's like the rest of the ship took two steps away from Disco and the bridge took half a step.
I don't know why, but Spock's viewer is just a little too clunky for me. But that captain's chair is the stuff. I want one.

At the very least, remove the semi-circle lighting strip in front of the user. I can feel a migraine coming on just looking at a picture of it.
It doesn't have any functional use either, as you have light from above and all the screens self-illuminate.
It's that fluorescent tube from my old workplace all over again. Burning straight into my retina.
Not that I've noticed in my rewatch. And yes.
Seemed to be text base. Has a stylus, IIRC.
