Where's Sisko's statue?

I see no particular reason why France would place a statue of a fictional French character thought up for an American tv show, and played by a British actor.

Perhaps only so if they thought it would become a huge tourist attraction.

So, not too different than Six Flags or the DMV?
I bet the reason Albert Einstein never drove a car is because he figured out the theory of relativity while waiting in line at the DMV, and then left in excitement before having his name called. That's where all the great philosophers and physicists hang out. Today's Athenian Academy is Drivers Ed.
