What kind of haircut do you have?

Just wondering if everyone out there follows the latest trends in hairstyle or forges off into their own style of hair?

I really dislike my hair, it is very straight and very thin, and I have a receding hairline. I really want to have the latest hairstyle trends, but my hair really doesn't work for that, I can't really grow it out long cause it looks weird, short is my only answer, and that means I can't really style it that well. I'm kind of looking for ideas on what to do with it.

Really short and pushed forward, like a Caesar but shorter. I don't like having to comb my hair and I really rock it.

This time of year, I'm usually bald. (It's been like 110 every day.) However, it's feeling monotonous so I'm trying to grow it out a little. The crown's about an inch long. The sides and back were buzzed with a two. I'm hoping to have an aviator haircut or a wedge by Christmas. Or perhaps something from the swing scene. I've long been fond of popular hairstyles from the 30s or so.

A bad one. My hair always looks a mess, no matter how hard I try.

I usually wear my hair in a short, flip style because it does that naturally.

I used to have waist-length wavy hair. In December, I wanted a change, so I cut it to my chin and donated it. I decided I don't like how I look with short hair (I ended up looking like Alice from Dilbert), so I'm growing it out again. It's just past my shoulders now. I'm probably going to grow it to the middle of my back.

I had hair like this:

Then I went to hair that looks like this:

Neither look works for everyone.

Kind of standard guy cut. bout 2 inches long on top, buzzed on the sides and back, trimmed between to blend. Combed forward and blow-dried to give it the wind-blown look and keep it off of my face and it also adds a little volume to the thin areas in front.

I like to have it cut quite short, then let it grow for a while before I'll get it cut again. I save money that way :D

If we're talking Sc-Fi/Fan references, I have it quite short ala Lee Adama in Battlestar Galactica Season 1-2, then it grows in to Angel Angel do, then into a longer style like David Tennant's Doctor Who :)

Buzzed down to half an inch, all over.

What's left of it.

I've reached the point where I can probably grow more hair on my face than on my head.

Right now it is about shoulder length, wavy and sort of thick, layered, no bangs. I don't do anything to it but brush it once in the morning and wash it every three days.

Normally my hair is much longer. I didn't get it cut at all in high school so it grew pretty long. I don't really like getting my hair cut. I cut it just after high school graduation and let it grow for a couple more years in college. Got it cut once after sophomore year and once after college graduation, which was a year ago. My most recent cut was about a month ago. I'll probably grow it out for longer this time, maybe three years.

I've been told that it looks "hippieish" when it is longer. Dirty blonde waves with no product or blow drying.

My hair is currently black and red and shoulder length (though the red OF COURSE needs to be redone because it fades so damn fast).

Shoulder length, curly, side parting. Not in any sharp style at the moment, as I'm growing it out of a short choppy do.
