So well, this current series. Some thoughts

Either that or this planet was the homeeorld's way of getting rid of population dead weights and whatever stories they were told about what happened back home were all made up.

They were still assholes

They listened when he was a blonde Yorkshire woman,
???
The Doctor dealt with quite a bit of sexism during Whittaker's run. "I never had to put up with this when I was a man" was even a line in one of her episodes, in response to the fact people weren't listening to her. Plus there was all the times when everyone automatically assumed Graham was the Doctor.

The problem I have with Dot and Bubble is how it messes up the general 'Act as if you own the place' that gets over the Doctor (or companion) having dark skin. If it's important in one episode, why not others?

No running arc or linking theme? Same strategery that works on planet X won't work on planet Y, because Z? Sloppy inconsistent scripting? Like counting the number of licks to get to the center of Billy's lollipop, we will never know.

I do wonder though there's a line of speech in The Giggle that has me wondering if it's just bragging on the part of The Toymaker or actual things he did.

He says he challenged God and won, really isn't God like supposed to be all powerful beyond celectial beings like The Toymaker? Did he literally mean God or someone else claiming to be God?

He probably ran into the Enterprise. :)

This was usually followed by a bit of the old ‘I had an upgrade’ dialogue which makes little sense in the context of the show as well.
