What a great episode... where Tuvok and Neelix are friends

It was just on Spike and I had forgotten how good the episode was! I missed the beginning of the episode and I don't know what the name of it is, but Tuvok gets messed up and loses his logic. He was basically acting like a little boy. Neelix befriends him and the two form a tight bond. Tuvok is really into this friendship as he feels alone and only Neelix is helping him. Near the end Tuvok is about to get fixed up and he is asking Neelix if they will still be friends afterwards. He is genuinely concerned that they still maintain their friendship. Then Tuvok gets all fixed up, and starts to act all 'Tuvok' again, ignoring Neelix and behaving like nothing happened. I actually felt bad for Neelix.

That was a good episode! It reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode "Number 12 looks just like you".

The episode is called "Riddles," and I agree that it is one of the best shows featuring the Tuvok/Neelix relationship.

one of the best things about the episode is that even after tuvok goes back to being tuvok, he still finds a way to express his friendshiop for neelix in his own vulcan way, by coming up with a witty reply to a riddle that neelix posed to him at the beginning of the episode.

I don't think I've seen this one in ages. I remember liking it though. Neelix and Tuvok seem to play off each other really well. I always liked their relationship from the first episode.

Best Tuvok, Neelix episode is when Tuvok doas the dance as Neelix is about to leave the ship to live on the asteroid.

I thought Tim Russ was amazing in this episode. He managed to present a "damaged" Tuvok without being sappy about it or ridiculing disabled people. I like to think that we saw an inner side of Tuvok, one that is repressed along with his emotions and one that is very much his opposite--yet still him. And a reminder that disabled people are still valuable and able to contribute.

A fun episode with a moral--Star Trek at its best!
