Spoilers The Starfleet Museum

What ships will we see in the Starfleet Museum?

I'm still not convinced that the ships that we see on display on the outside in the rings aren't holograms.

Given how they're floating with nothing mooring them and no active sign of a tractor beam.
They're in space and the station doesn't seem to be spinning, so I'd assume the ships would basically stay put (with the occassional correction to compensate for Spacedock's gravity pulling them closer).

There's probably a rule about how many Enterprises they can have on display at one time.

If so. it would seem to be a rather arbitrary rule (IMO) considering most of the Enterprises have had exemplary services - and my understanding was that the events of Narendra III were fairly significant / pivotal for the Klingon / Federation relations, which would warrant the Ent-C being shown in some capacity.

If the Romulans still had the Enterprise-C docked in orbit of their home world, then it was destroyed when the planet was.

My guess is that they probably stripped it down to an empty hulk long before that.

I'm starting to realize it, but we might have actually seen both Defiant-class starships bearing the name Defiant on screen as of this episode. I mean, any jagged, blackened piece of metal seen at Chin'toka could've very well come from the original NX-74205... :D

Well done

If anyone's wondering why there's two of anything in the museum - for an historical precedent, the Pima museum has three B-52s on display. Each is a different model and each has a history of note: for example one of them carried the X-15 plane on its historic flights.

So we're left wondering why have two Akira class ships at the same time - each could have done something really historical, or perhaps one is an early production Akira with a completely different warp core..?

That's... dark.

Ok, just because I'm bored, it's late and I probably should be sleeping. Here's what I wish we got from the Museum; a new look Connie next to the NX-01 Refit. Just because I think the designs compliment eachother so well. Both models in are the same scale, so this is how they'd compare.
