I have some news that could be considered a count-downer.

Paramount has a two hour block, and Star Trek is supposed to be near the end. We may not hear anything until closer to 3:30 Pacific, unless they send out a press release beforehand.

It should be 1:30 in San Diego now, So the Paramount panel should start any moment. I hope we don't have to wait long.

I don't visit the main site very often directly. I prefer to read the news through my RSS reader. I just hit up www.startrek.com and saw that they have a splash page set up. It only says "STARTREK.COM" but I wonder if it's a prelude to the big news.
