Fun, entertaining episode. The last 2~3 episodes of every Lower Deck's season are excellent. If only the rest of the episodes in the season could be like the last few episodes. A little more thought out, less gag/reference a minute.

What happened to that portal to the multiverse in Picard, Prodigy , and Disco seasons 3-5?
Picard and Prodigy were self contained in space enough that it likely just didn't come up.

But there's no real excuse for Discovery other then Seasons 3-5 existing in an alternate timeline like was implied in this episode given the B plot in Season 4 was specifically about someone wanting to travel to an alternate universe and not being able to without insane amounts of power.

Nope. The Strange New Worlds crossover already proved they're the same universe.
Sort of, it proved they were the same timeline till the end of Season 2 of Discovery.

At least, assuming the Time Portal wasn't also a dimensional portal.

Strange New Worlds Klingons look different to Discovery Klingons.

I don't mind the idea of Discovery being an alternate universe version of events that also happened in the Prime Timeline, so Strange New Worlds can be a sequel to those events and a prequel to TOS despite the visual differences, and everything still happened.

Of course that would mean Discoverys from both the Prime and Disco universe each travelled to their own separate Mirror Universe and then saved the multiverse simultaneously... but if that's what it takes to make any sense out of those damn Klingons, then I'll go with it!

I just loved this episode. The guy de- ascending, the candle ect.

I just wish at the start they would have used D7 because the scene made me think of the start of TMP.

I hope this means disco and snow are now not set in the prime universe
It doesn't. The SNW/LDS crossover already proved they're the same universe.

If I'm remembering my lore correctly, Worf would have been captain of the Ent-E right now.

I loved the Beefy Bird of prey, it was even a bit of a kitbash, the head was from the Ent Era D5 Battlecruiser

it proved they were the same timeline till the end of Season 2 of Discovery.
No it didn't.

Klingons Klingons Klingons. Why is no one discussing the remarkable fact we have beluga whales serving on the Cerritos?! How did they get recruited by Starfleet?! And how come their commentary always cracks my ribs from laughing too hard?!

Matt and Kimolu. Or Kimolu and Matt. Welcome back! I've had a whale of a time!!! :guffaw:

You're free to provide evidence at any time that Season's 3-5 of Discovery took place in the main timeline.
They've used footage from TNG as in-universe recordings, we've also seen props from previous series in a couple episodes.

Season 5 was literally a sequel to a TNG episode.

And most of all, the people running the Trek franchise consider it to be part of the Main Timeline.

The Terran Cerritos had some Warship Voyager weapon fins, the pod on the bridge is from the Luna Class

the Terran badge is the TNG era one from the Comics/STO, but it's mirrored like DSC

I like the Cali Miranada
