"Captain Burnham and Book journey into extradimensional space"

So they're not going to the Mirror Universe, just somewhere outside of both universes.

Do you suppose Michael will find a recording by Emperor Philippa Georgiou teasing of the adventures she's had since entering the Gateway?

This one confused me (and that's easy). Surely she could have done that anyway assuming she was returned to the past but in the Prime. It does tie into my own thoughts about whether the crew does research what happened to their colleagues and family in the past, beyond Michael reading about Spock. In particular how they would have felt about Pike's accident.

This was a fine episode for Character development, especially getting the backstory on Moll and Lak. I am having a little trouble understanding why they can't be separated for long though, and there really is a strong connection with them. Maybe a future episode will show how they met and Moll's first curior run? I also wondered why the ISS Enterprise. If it comes down to just that Dr Cho, than I wonder if they could have used any other ship, but I was waiting for more significance of the ISS Enterprise and they didn't really provide any.

I liked last week's episode better, but this one did a great job forwarding the momentum and giving use more Moll and Lak. I'm actually intrigued to see where this goes.

Mirroring (;)) the end of S1

So the version we saw in Mirror Mirror was from before, meaning the Terran Discoprise is a refit of the TOS Conny, not an earlier version

What's a torpedo's payload? :D
I guess instead of being packed with matter and antimatter being brought together to power the “photon swash”, for these they scooped out the usual setup and just topped them up with just lots more antimatter.

Wasn’t clear on the Breen’s “other face” — so, they’re “posthuman” (postbreen) cyborgs? Or something.

Wonder if it’s some sort of biological thing the breen exert (?) that’s cause any species that “mates” with them to form a literal bond.
