Rank the series in your order of Preference

TOS
DSC
ENT
TNG
DS9
VOY

I don’t dislike any of the series but this is the order in which I enjoy them.

If we’re including movies, the Kelvinverse is at the top.

In many ways, DS9 combines and continues the themes of TOS and adds new dimensions, incorporating the best of TOS and TNG, even adding religion (Roddenberry must have hated it but IDIC prevailing, religion in a race of superbeings is something TOS was doing all the time albeit as forms of glowing light bulbs telling humanity they're savage but improving) and people having to get along instead of-- I'll get back to that. But DS9 still brings some of TNG's baggage, for a while. TNG had a time and place and works on its own merits, but the ubiquitous claim of "there's no conflict" is the reason it gets to #3. The few times it tried to branch out most people belittled and wanting their precious bland bridge clique to be pure (eg. bring Crusher back, write out Ro, what's a Shelby except you find being sold by the seashore, etc.) And yet it works, especially when Geordi and Data discuss the human condition. That's what drew me to it. Picard had his moments as well, but characterwise it's Geordi and Data and Pulaski and Guinan for me.And they weren't about conflict, just discussion. Good discussion, true to Trekdom, but still felt different. And yet I miss the 90s nowadays but I'll spare those ramblings. I'm just glad TNG got through season 1 and renewed.

Having sat through a lot of TAS, a truly underrated show despite some plot reuse, TOS still largely holds up a lot despite the decades.

So, the list - the order is subject to change the next time I have a TNG or VOY marathon.

TOS/TAS
DS9
TNG
VOY
ENT
DSC/STD/DISCO (may as well call it "STuDio 54", it's just as gaudy :p )

I love doing this every couple of years - tastes change, but history/instinct prevails:

VOY (first love)
ENT (most unexploited potential)
DS9 (best all-round series)
TOS (touchstone)
TNG (some great episodes, and some awful ones without the camp appeal of TOS)
TAS (only seen couple of episodes)

Voy (wonderful cast and many really good episodes)
TNG (my first Trek- good storys, but particulary a wooden cast)
TOS (classic, but too "old" )
DS9 (can`t really go in it, I tried several times, but I can`t love it- don`t like the cast)
I didn`t watch much of Ent (only two or three episodes)

TOS/TOS Movies
DS9
TNG/TNG Movies
ENT
TAS
VOY
DISCO

Discovery is last only because it’s incomplete. The Discoprise doesn’t help either.

Star Trek, the original and best. . . .still
Enterprise, last two seasons should have been enough to save this much maligned show
Deep Space Nine, for Kira Nerys and the Dominion storyline
The Next Generation, not as good as it thinks it is
Voyager, someone ought to have had a word with Janeway "Just get us fucking home, never mind the detours to explore" (Loved Seven though)
Discovery, I like it, but its too new to form a lasting opinion

1. DS9
Great storytelling, characters development, and had the greatest story arcs and the Dominion War
2. TOS
A very very close second, the one that started it all, and because TOS makes me nostalgic, the Kirk-Spock-McCoy trio was very nice
3. TNG
Went on TOS and expanded with great episodes and diplomacy, but I liked TOS better because it was more fun
4. Voyager
Great episodic format, but a bit too inconsistent and could never be like TNG, but it was still very good
5. Enterprise
Was just getting good when it got cancelled, might have ranked higher if it continued
6. TAS
Great continuation of TOS, with some pretty good episodes
7. DSC
Too early to tell if it's good, but so far, pretty good

5. VOY
4. ENT
3. TNG
2. DS9

And the number one, best, favorite, most awesomest trek of all time:

1. TOS
