Question about the JJ Enterprise saucer

I'm hoping someone can help out here and that I didn't imagine this. Was there a scene in one of the movies that showed what looked like the center of the saucer and you could see deck upon deck almost from top to bottom. I thought that space would have been filled with lift shafts and stuff but I remember it looking less crowded then it should have been.

Yes it was Star Trek Into Darkness when the Enterprise starts falling after Khan's attack.

I wasn't a huge fan of it conceptually, but I liked that they rebuilt the set in CG to give it a one-shot appearance in Beyond. It bothers me in newer sequels when they seem to feel the need to reinvent everything every movie, so I like a quick moment to see that everything from the last movie is still there. Same thing with the glimpse of the brewery in STID, or The Dark Knight Rises, correcting course by including stuff from both prior movies after The Dark Knight had a big "We threw away all our sets from Batman Begins and started over" vibe that I didn't appreciate.

A version of the Enterprise that looks like an Enterprise only 3 times the size of the Enterprise D, haha watch the rage intensify

I'm kidding of course

'The Making of Star Trek' has the computer core at the center of decks seven and eight. This is where Franz Joseph got his idea.
