If it’s going to be in Switzerland, then the French subtitles should already be there. As it is, we’re still cut off unless we go the illegal route. It will be interesting to see what they decide for the rest of Europe. Dubbing is relatively rare here (France), and people mostly use subtitles.

Since this is an animated children's show then I suspect that this will be dubbed for most markets. But hopefully the original English is also available.

Oh, it's not available in Australia either? I have been checking all day here in Finland as well, but nothing yet. Altough they only said Prodigy would be available on Paramount+ in Nordics, they never said when. I guess there is still hope for us, altough slim.

Honestly, I thought TV execs had finally learned after the noughties that if you make it available everywhere, you'll discourage pirating. People will watch the show when it's available within a reasonable time in their geography.

It seems as streaming fragments that they're unlearning that lesson. I expect it will prove to be an expensive mistake.

It was confirmed yesterday that Prodigy will begin airing in Nordics on February 11th, so same day as Discovery returns. It was not clear wether it's one episode a week or all then aired episodes as once

Episodes 1-5 are now available in Nordics. No information when 6-10 are coming, though.

Australia started "Prodigy" a week late but, after the expected hiatus, Episodes 6-10 were MIA with no explanation. Grrrrr. We were eventually told that they were due "some time in February 2022".

Last Friday, both "Discovery" and "Prodigy" returned. Yay! The "Prodigy" eps actually went up in a batch (trying not to binge after so many weeks of unsuccessfully trying to avoid Facebook spoilers) - and even Seasons 1-3 of "Discovery" were available (they had all been on Netflix, but had vanished from their back catalogue the day that Season Four's premiere was pulled at short notice, in favour of Paramount+.)
