Ian Nunney (who is apparently playing a younger version of the 'Elnor' character in the show), has confirmed on Instagram that the name of the ship in PICARD is...
La Sirena

That's cool news Patrick Stewert confirmed it's true about the name of the Starship.

The ship's captain is Cristobal Rios, played by a Chilean actor, and since he is an independent operator rather than Starfleet and therefore most probably named the ship himself, a Spanish name for the ship makes sense.

That would be multiple levels of stupid.
Oh i dunno. If Picard ends up sacrificing himself by end of season 3, they can name a starship class after him. First of the class would be USS Picard, then the second ship in the class would be Enterpirse-F

My favorite science fiction ship name is Weeping Somnambulist from the Expanse (it was in one of the Expanse books and the TV show).

La Sirena for some reason is reminiscent to me of that. Maybe because both feel like poetic names.

I actually kinda thought the ship would end up being USS Picard. Out of all the series TNG is the only one not to be named after its parent ship.

I definitely like the name. It has a feminine touch to it unlike previous Trek hero ships. I hope the ship's exterior is as far from a Starfleet ship as possible but still kind of cool (i.e., not a shoe box with warp nacelles).
