NHL Season Discussion - 2013/14

Yeah but NY fired him first. They're the root of the unemployed Torts problem.

Also, did you see the billboard the kings bought outside of msg?

I haven't seen it, but considering they put a giant Rangers sign in front of the Canadian Consulate here in NYC during their series with the Habs, I am sure whatever the billboard says it is justified.

It's basically Will Ferrell yelling at people about how awesome the Kings are.

Yeah Apparently. Win at home I guess. I'm pretty sure if it goes any longer than friday I'm going to have a stress induced heart attack.

It's a shame that the Rangers' stars couldn't score when they need them to. Henrik is a world class goalie, but they need forwards that aren't going to vanish in a final.

Yeah, without Lundvist this would have been a four game sweep with four of the four games being blowouts.

Congrats to the Kings and their burgeoning little dynasty. They brought the Cup back to L.A.

Eat your hearts out Ducks fans. :)

Congrats to the Kings from a Hawks fan. Your third man in late on the forecheck was a nut none could crack this post season. Didnt think Quick was especially great, gave up way to many long rebounds but the Kings D recovered them all. A true team effort for this Cup hoisting for sure.

The only one who really seemed to show up was St. Louis.

Anyways, congrats to the Kings. I didn't make it past the first OT.

First OT? Heck, 3rd intermission i was in the washroom throwing up :p

And definitely agree. Lundqvist is an amazing goalie, and was my biggest fear going into this series, but unfortunately there was no one around to back the poor guy up.

Any free-agent signing that's got you really excited? Scratching your head?

On the latter, why does Ryan Miller go to Vancouver, a team that is a tire fire for all intensive purposes?

I'm just kind of sad LA didn't resign Willie Mitchell. Good guy, loved him on the team. Too bad he was just too much money for us.
