In a Mirror Darkly

> Archer watches a water polo match...played with depth charges.

That was the best one :rommie:

> A scene explaining why the Orion female isn't controlling the Avenger with her pheromones should have been included.

I WONDERED ABOUT THAT

I thought MirrorReed was much more over the top, with his squinty Popeye sneer. It was like he was channeling a combination of the Marquis de Sade and Captain Jack Sparrow.

HA... dude I hope I can remember this when I meet Dominic Keating next week, because that damned well made ME chuckle

Those here that know me know I loved everything about this episode (I consider the two should really have been one extened episode). It is episodes like this every once in a while a season that keep things upbeat, light and just plain fun! Enough with the numerous deep meaning episodes that tackle world problems and personal conflicts... I can watch this episode over and over again!! Fantastic!!

Empress Hoshi forever!! :techman::drool:

OK... I had issues with the Gorn.

I watched both parts on the plane while flying back from the Trek convention... I love it more each time! The Gorn looked a little funky but I can deal with that.

^ not that most men in the MU would mind getting some Orion action, but you're probably right

I gotta say I was hyped about seeing this before I first saw it a few years back but upon actual viewing I was disappointed overall. However maybe 2 years after my first viewing I was watching it again with two friends who didn't have a clue about the current state or series of Star Trek, nor did they know anything about Mirror Universe stories etc They had a complete blast watching it and I myself enjoyed it a lot more watching their reactions to what was going on. They even shouted "yay Enterprise!"

I HATE this as part of Enterprise...but you know, watching it as part of the Alternate Realities collection, I found myself chuckling the whole way through! I never watch it as part of season 4, and I never will...but as just a Mirror Universe show, it's campy as hell and pretty funny! I never would have guessed!:techman:

Yeah, it's a fun episode. The second part seemed a little unfulfilling compared to the first, but it was still fun. My main disappointment is that we missed out on a couple of episodes that might have been put to better use. On the other hand, most of the S4 episodes have aged very badly for me, so what I find more disappointing is that the last RU episode we got before what was essentially the series finale (Demons/Terra Prime) was Bound, which really wasn't all that good.

Couldn't agree more--as I said on page 1, what if this had been one ep and TATV had been 2? Maybe they could have saved it somehow, though with B&B writing it, maybe not...

There was too much character assassination and inanity in TATV as it was. I cringe at the thought of another hour of it. But I suppose that's getting off topic.

The episodes were fun, but I resented two episodes devoted to characters I didn't care about so close to the end of the series.

I loved seeing the Defiant and accoutrements, though. I have always had a soft spot for Relics on TNG for the same reason.

Hey Pensive, did you ever get to mention this to Dominic in Vegas? That is an awesome comparison!

^ CRAP I forgot because I wasn't checking this board from my BlackBerry every day.... :brickwall:
