If You Had Infinite Amounts of Time & Money, What Would You Do?

Oh, I'd find a use for it to build something crazy, I'm sure...

1. Go back to creating artwork (had to give it up to make $ and not live in a ditch)
2. travel
3. landscape the back yard in any way I want
4. get a dog
5. hike (and maintain) the trails near my home every day instead of just once a week or couple times a month
6. visit with family more often
7. sleep later
8. read more books

eta disclaimer: all the stuff I plan on doing in retirement. Guess the $ part doesn't really matter as travel is the only thing with any larger expense tagged to it. Time is more valuable for me.

Unlimited money now would mean I could take a leave of absence at work and clear my head. I’d drag my boyfriend with me.

How about your own private skyscraper like Stark Tower?

You could rent out whole floors to companies and make even more dollars

Hmmm.... infinite amounts of money?

That wouldn't be good, that wouldn't be good at all.

It would mean that the net value of anything -or anyone- else in the world world would effectively become zero when compared to me, and the world economy would start to revolve around me, as I could outbid anything and anyone, including a coalition of the US, Europe, China, and whatever other countries or power blocks you could come up with.

That would either completely cripple the system, leading to an economic crash the likes the world has never seen, or my money would be declared invalid, in which case I have nothing left. Or perhaps they'll leave me a finite quantity that won't cripple the world economy but is still enough for me to have no direct money worries, when I'd aim for a modest lifestyle? Say, 100 billion?

I would also give a chunk of the money to the MTA in New York City so they could finally finish the Second Avenue Subway.

I have had similar thoughts about this kind of thing, but I think there would be a limit to how much money or wealth you could have.

Saying infinite seems like a bit of an error because that would cause problems for the rest of the world. Maybe perhaps you have a pot of say 1 billion dollars or whatever currency you use.

That wouldn't quite be infinite but it would be more than enough for the average person to do as many things as possible that they wanted, and what they wanted to achieve.
